The Houseperson is responsible for the cleaning and general appearance of all public areas and corridors of the hotel according to the company and brand standards. This individual should possess good communication, organizational and guest service skills. Knowledge of equipment used such as: hand held radios, vacuum machines, cleaning supplies, and linen carts is essential. He/She is responsible to react to any calls by management or front desk on the general upkeep of all common areas.  Responsibilities

• Clean lobbies, entrance, public areas (Pool/Fitness/Business Center/Meeting Room(s)/Laundry/Restrooms/Elevators/Etc), corridors and stairs. 
• Clean includes daily touch ups again in the afternoon. 
• Clean lobby windows at minimum once per week (or as otherwise advised by management). 
• Provide paper supply and soap for public bathrooms. 
• Re-supply towels in Pool/Fitness room daily. 
• Inspect all public areas and creating maintenance slips when needed. 
• Complete work order requests produced by housekeeping for public areas. 
• Perform deep cleaning projects as requested by Housekeeping Manager or Hotel Manager. 
• Spot clean corridor carpet as needed. 
• Clean offices as needed including removal of garbage 
• Assist with laundry after completion of public area cleaning when needed. 
• Assist with function and/or meeting set up when needed. 
• Assist Housekeeping Manager as needed. 
• Communicate with management, front desk for service related matters, and maintenance for equipment related matters. 
• Greet all guests as they pass in a pleasant manner, making them feel welcome. 
• Able to stand & walk for extended periods; must be able to lift and carry up to 10 pounds; mobility to bend, squat, push, pull, kneel, and stretch when needed during cleaning 
• Work as a team and possess a can do attitude 
• Additional duties from a supervisor/hotel manager will be assigned as necessary
