Description

• Conduct evaluations of patients in either inpatient or outpatient settings and craft personalized treatment plans
• Implement physical therapy interventions aimed at mobility, strength, balance, and functional recovery
• Work side by side with nurses, physicians, case managers, and other rehabilitation professionals to ensure optimal recovery outcomes
• Educate patients and their families on therapeutic objectives, discharge planning, and home exercise routines
• Document evaluations, treatments, and progress in line with facility protocols and regulatory standards
• Engage in interdisciplinary team rounds and conferences to promote cohesive patient care

Education

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or an equivalent degree from a recognized institution

Certifications

• State licensure as a Physical Therapist
• CPR certification is preferred
• Additional specialized certifications (e.g. neurological, geriatric) are advantageous but not essential

Skills

• Prior experience is highly preferred
