About This Role The Registered Nurse in this role will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for individuals or families. Highlights Location : Jefferson Hills, PA Facility : Jefferson Hospital Schedule : Part-time What You'll Do Assess human responses and implement nursing care plans. Provide leadership in a professional practice setting. Assign or delegate tasks based on patient needs and staff skill levels. Promote patient safety initiatives and participate in quality initiatives. Utilize the nursing process to develop patient care plans. Analyze health status and determine patient care needs. Document changes in patient condition and notify appropriate personnel. Participate in interdisciplinary teams to evaluate clinical care. Promote compassionate communication that is patient and family-centered. Continuously evaluate patient and family satisfaction. Requirements Education Current State of PA RN licensure or current multi-state licensure through the enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC) required. Experience Preferred certification in area of specialty. Licenses & Certifications CPR certification required. Act 34 Criminal Background Clearance Certificate required. Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance Certificate required. Act 73 FBI Fingerprinting Criminal Background Clearance Certificate required.
