Property Care Technician

Mr. Juniper — Imperial Valley, CA
Starting at $22/hour

| Growth to $24–$26/hour

This is not just a cleaning job.

Mr. Juniper is a growing local property-care company serving residential and commercial customers throughout the Imperial Valley.

We clean windows, maintain solar panels, pressure wash properties, clean artificial turf, install permanent and seasonal lighting, perform bird-proofing work, and provide other exterior property-care services.

We’re looking for someone who can eventually be trusted to independently take care of our customers, our equipment, and our reputation.

We can teach you how to clean a window or solar panel.

What is much harder to teach is:

What You’ll Do

You’ll be trained to perform services including:

• Residential and commercial window cleaning
• Solar panel cleaning and maintenance
• Pressure washing and exterior cleaning
• Artificial turf cleaning
• Permanent and seasonal lighting installation
• Bird-proofing and other property-care services
• Equipment setup and breakdown
• Customer communication
• Jobsite inspections and quality control
• Before-and-after photography
• Identifying additional services that may benefit customers
• Maintaining and organizing company vehicles, equipment, tools, and supplies

Eventually, you’ll be expected to handle many jobs independently.

That means we’re not just looking for someone who can follow instructions.

We’re looking for someone we can trust.

The Person We’re Looking For

You do not need professional window-cleaning or solar-cleaning experience.

We are willing to train the right person.

Experience in customer service, hospitality, auto detailing, pest control, pool service, maintenance, installation, restaurants, retail, route service, or other hands-on customer-facing work can all translate well into this position.

Attention to Detail Matters Here

Our quality standard is high.

If a window has a visible streak, the job isn’t finished.

If a solar panel still has haze or residue, the job isn’t finished.

If equipment gets thrown into the truck instead of being organized, the work isn’t finished.

We don’t expect perfection on Day 1.

We do expect you to care enough to learn what excellent work looks like.

Requirements

You must:

• Communicate clearly and professionally in English
• Be reliable and punctual
• Be comfortable interacting directly with customers
• Be able to perform physical outdoor work
• Be able to safely work in Imperial Valley weather conditions
• Be comfortable learning to work on ladders and at heights
• Be able to lift and carry typical field equipment
• Be willing to follow safety procedures and company processes
• Have an acceptable driving record for company-vehicle responsibilities
• Be able to work independently after training

Spanish is a strong plus but is not required.

Pay & Growth

Technician-in-Training — $20/hour

During training, you’ll learn:

• Mr. Juniper service standards
• Equipment operation and care
• Safety procedures
• Customer-service expectations
• Quality-control procedures
• Jobsite setup and breakdown
• How to independently complete our core services

Training is not based only on time.

Certification is earned by demonstrating that you can consistently perform the work safely, professionally, and to Mr. Juniper standards.

Certified Property Care Technician — $22/hour

Once certified, you’ll be trusted to independently complete core jobs, communicate with customers, care for company equipment, and represent Mr. Juniper professionally in the field.

Your hourly rate applies to your entire scheduled shift, including driving between jobs, setup, breakdown, equipment care, training, and other assigned work.

Additional Earnings

Technicians may also have opportunities to earn additional commission by helping grow customer relationships.

The current commission structure may include:

• 10% commission on technician-generated add-ons that you identify and sell while servicing a customer’s property
• 5% commission on new leads you personally generate that are later quoted and closed by Mr. Juniper
• 7.5% commission on jobs you genuinely originate and close yourself using our approved quoting and pricing system

Commissions are based on qualifying collected revenue and do not stack.

Commission programs, eligibility requirements, and rates may be modified as the company grows and the compensation program evolves. Any changes would apply prospectively and would not reduce commissions already earned under the applicable plan.

We do not use a production-percentage bonus simply for completing scheduled work.

We believe quality comes before speed.

We want technicians focused on doing excellent work, taking care of customers, and identifying legitimate opportunities to help them — not rushing through jobs to earn a production bonus.

Advancement

Strong technicians can progress toward:

Lead Technician — approximately $24/hour

Lead Technicians are expected to demonstrate:

• Consistent high-quality work
• Excellent customer service
• Strong reliability and attendance
• Ability to independently manage a route
• Equipment and vehicle care
• Productivity and organization
• Ability to solve problems without constant supervision
• Ability to support and train newer technicians
• Good judgment when identifying additional customer needs

Senior / Crew Lead — approximately $25–$26/hour

As Mr. Juniper grows, additional leadership opportunities may become available for technicians capable of supervising larger projects, training team members, managing routes, and helping maintain company standards.

Our goal is to build long-term technicians who can take ownership of their work, represent Mr. Juniper professionally, and grow with the company.
