Junior Sales Representative - Non-Ferrous Metals (36106)

An international trading company specializing in industrial materials is seeking a Junior Sales Representative to support business development, sourcing, and customer relationship management within the non-ferrous metals sector. This role involves extensive travel throughout North America, Asia, and Latin America to develop supplier and customer partnerships and identify new business opportunities.

Junior Sales Representative Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain relationships with customers, suppliers, and business partners
• Identify new business opportunities and promote non-ferrous metal products
• Negotiate pricing, commercial terms, and sales agreements
• Source and evaluate new suppliers and supply channels
• Monitor market trends, commodity pricing, and competitor activities
• Conduct market research and analyze customer needs to support business growth
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth execution of transactions
• Manage customer accounts, receivables, and credit-related matters
• Attend trade shows, industry events, and business meetings
• Travel extensively to meet customers and suppliers across North America, Asia, and Latin America
• Other duties as assigned

Junior Sales Representative Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in B2B sales, sourcing, purchasing, trading, or supply chain functions
• Experience in metals, industrial materials, manufacturing, trading, or commodity-related industries preferred
• Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills
• Ability to analyze market information and develop business strategies
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
• Ability and willingness to travel internationally 50% or more
• Valid passport and eligibility for international travel
• Experience with non-ferrous metals (Aluminum, Copper, Nickel, Zinc, Brass, etc.) preferred.
• International trading, import/export, or commodity sales experience
• Experience working with global suppliers and customers
