What You’ll Do

As a Medical Records Specialist, you’ll play a vital role in maintaining the integrity and compliance of our health information systems. Your key responsibilities will include:

Conducting quality assurance audits on client charts to ensure billing accuracy and compliance with state regulations.
Managing incoming and outgoing medical records requests while adhering to strict HIPAA guidelines.
Overseeing the electronic health record system, including user access and compliance metrics.
Ensuring the confidentiality and security of medical records at all times.

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking a dedicated professional who meets the following qualifications:

A Master’s degree in Health Informatics, Healthcare Administration, or Information Management.
At least 2 years of medical records experience in the behavioral health field.
Strong knowledge of HIPAA regulations and electronic health record systems.
Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
