Funeral Director Opportunity
Fast paced, growing, family-owned firm with multiple locations in the Wilmington, NC area is seeking a new team member with a NC Funeral Director or a NC Funeral Service License.
Job Details
Must have completed mortuary school and have a North Carolina Funeral Directors License or the ability to reciprocate a license from another state.
Must be a self-starter that's detailed oriented and has excellent communication skills to interact with families. Computer skills required. Strong organizational and time management are a plus. Valid drivers license and clean driving record and the ability to lift at least 50lbs.
Responsibilities include meeting with client families to make funeral arrangements, present and explain service options. Direct funeral services, visitations, create personalized memorial products, and assist with other services.
Training provided. Make transfers from place of death during business hours. No after-hours removals. Great schedule including every other weekend off. Rotating on-call nights (avg. 2 night/week).
Salary based on experience. $55,000-$70,000. Competitive pay/benefits: including company paid health insurance/dental/vision and matching 401K.
Offering a considerable sign-on bonus.
