Qualifications

• Current, valid RN license in the state
• Previous pediatric or school nursing experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Deliver individualized medical care and monitoring for one student, ensuring safety, comfort, and daily well-being
• Administer medications, perform health-related procedures, and respond to emergencies if needed
• Collaborate closely with educational staff, parents, and health care providers to implement and update individualized healthcare plans
• Maintain accurate health records and provide frequent communication regarding the students health status
• Educate staff as appropriate regarding the students medical needs and create a supportive learning atmosphere
