With a commitment to professional development and growth, let us connect you to your next career opportunity.No C2C - Must be eligible to work on a W-2 basisJob SummaryThe Low Voltage Technician III is responsible for leading the installation, testing, commissioning, and documentation of structured cabling and telecommunications systems. This role serves as a working lead, providing technical expertise, on-site leadership, and direct customer interaction to ensure projects are executed safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with company and industry.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and perform installation, termination, labeling, and testing of copper cablingPerform copper certification; download, analyze, archive, and deliver test results and as-built documentationPlan and manage material usage, storage, and inventory to reduce waste and support project timelinesMaintain a clean, safe, and professional jobsite in compliance with Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) policiesProvide regular project status updates to the Project Manager and proactively escalate risks or issuesCoordinate, and oversee subcontractors and internal crews to meet scope, schedule, and quality expectationsAct as the primary on-site customer point of contact for installation activities, changes, and field coordinationComplete all required documentation (daily reports, material inventories, quality inspections, close-out packages) accurately and on timeObtain customer project acceptance upon completionTechnical Skills & ExperienceMinimum of 3 years of experience installing and maintaining telecommunications and low-voltage infrastructureProven ability to terminate copper to quality standardsStrong understanding of cabling categories, pathways, telecommunications room standards, and testing requirementsProficient with professional cable and fiber testing tools; able to analyze results, identify faults, and implement corrective actionAbility to read and interpret scopes of work, drawings, and wiring diagramsAbility to use a computer, tablet, and/or smartphone to communicate via email or Microsoft Teams, complete reports, and access online project and construction portalsDemonstrated troubleshooting skills with a focus on minimizing downtime and resolving field issues efficientlyLeadership & CommunicationAbility to lead by example, assign tasks, and manage daily workflows for multiple techniciansStrong customer-facing communication skills, both verbal and writtenProven ability to collaborate with project managers, clients, and vendorsCalm and professional under changing conditions or tight schedulesEffective problem-solving, conflict resolution, and decision-making skillsWorking Conditions & Physical RequirementsAbility to walk, stand, bend, climb ladders or lifts, and lift up to 50 lbsComfortable working at heights and in active construction environmentsStandard work hours Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, with flexibility for after-hours or weekend work as requiredTravel RequirementsExtensive travel required, up to 85%, nationwideTravel may include multi-week assignments based on project needsMust be able to travel in short notice and adapt to changing schedulesExpected to remain productive while working remotely from hotels or temporary project officesCompany-coordinated travel arrangements and per-diem providedApproved business expenses (fuel, parking, tolls, etc.) reimbursed per company policyCompliance with all expense documentation and submission requirements is mandatoryQualificationsValid Driver's License and ability to pass pre-employment screening and customer/site specific screenings as requiredAuthorized to work in the United StatesWillingness to attend training and maintain required certificationsCommitment to company policies, safety procedures, and proper use of company assetsEqual Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
