Strategy, Operations & Communications Lead

Senior individual contributor role serving as strategic thought partner to SPARQ leadership, translating enterprise priorities into actionable plans, driving cross-functional initiatives, and enabling executive decision-making across R&D safety, regulatory, quality, and compliance functions.

Responsibilities

Partner with SPARQ Leadership Team to frame strategic priorities, identify risks, and drive alignment on decisions
Translate strategic priorities into operating plans with defined scope, ownership, timelines, and success measures
Lead cross-functional initiatives focused on business process improvement and operating model optimization
Develop analyses, briefing materials, and business reviews synthesizing complex information for senior leaders
Design and facilitate leadership forums, business reviews, and other operating mechanisms ensuring decision-oriented outcomes

Requirements

Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree (MBA, MS, PharmD, PhD) preferred
8+ years in biopharma, R&D strategy, business operations, portfolio planning, or management consulting
Demonstrated experience advising senior functional leaders on business issues and developing recommendations
Proven ability leading complex cross-functional initiatives with measurable business impact
Strong understanding of R&D operating models, drug development, regulatory, or quality functions preferred
Experience with business planning, resource prioritization, portfolio alignment, and governance
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to create executive-ready materials

Compensation: $162,000-$222,750 base
