Food Service Worker (Part‑time) Compass Healthcare – UNC Health Morganton, 2201 South Sterling St., Morganton, NC 28655. Location: UNC Health Morganton. Online applications accepted only. Job Summary Prepares, presents, and serves food as needed and supports a high‑quality dining experience for patients and staff. Essentialēr Duties and Responsibilities Perform prep work such as washing, peeling, cutting, and seeding fruits and vegetables. Weigh and measure designated ingredients. Carry pans, kettles, and trays of food to and from work stations, stove, and refrigerator in accordance with safety standards. Store food in designated areas following wrapping, dating, food‑safety, and rotation procedures. Clean work areas, equipment, and utensils. Distribute supplies, utensils, and portable equipment. Utilize approved recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures, and standard portion control. Serve customers in a friendly, efficient manner following outlined steps deny diet. Resolve customer concerns and relay relevant information to supervisor. Ensure beaut compliant with company service standards, inventory, and cash‑control procedures. Assure compliance with all sanitation and safety requirements. Perform other duties as assigned.
