Patient Account Representative Assistant
Vantage Radiology & Diagnostic Services, PS
Employment Type Full-Time Schedule Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM Overview This position supports Patient Account Representatives in resolving outstanding accounts and providing excellent customer service to patients. Knowledge of medical insurance billing processes is preferred. Candidates should have solid organizational abilities and strong customer service skills. Responsibilities File claims to primary and secondary payers. Contact insurance companies to verify medical insurance coverage. Respond to patient and insurance inquiries. Research and resolve outstanding accounts. Post incoming insurance mail to patient accounts. Answer incoming customer service calls. Communicate professionally with patients, insurance companies, and facility personnel. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. At least two years of prior data entry experience. Comfortable using program applications, including Windows. Knowledge of medical terminology (preferred). One year of previous office experience (preferred). Experience with Epic (preferred). Proficiency in Excel (preferred). Strong organizational skills and high degree of accuracy. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet multiple deadlines.
