Patient Access Rep

Job Summary As a Patient Access Representative at Franciscan Urology Associates Clinic in Tacoma, WA, you will manage administrative duties for the patient intake process in our clinic, adhering to established guidelines. This full‑time role is part of the Franciscan Medical Group, a division of Virginia Mason Franciscan Health. The position offers free covered parking and does not require nights, weekends, or recognized holidays. Responsibilities Registers and/or checks patients in/out. Performs patient check‑in at the time of visit; records and verifies all demographic, insurance and other information and follows established procedures to ensure all registration guidelines have been satisfied. Conducts routine insurance eligibility verifications. Copies/scans patient access related hard‑copy materials into the appropriate location in the electronic medical record. Records non‑clinical charges from various sources (e.g., completion of forms, attorney fees, retail fees). Handles and reconciles payments. Job Requirements Required One year of customer service work experience. Preferred Two years of customer service work experience. Healthcare or call center experience.
