Job Description
TITLE
Registered Nurse - Outpatient Infusion

SCHEDULE
5 x 8-hour shifts, 07:30 - 16:00
No weekends and no holidays

REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 2 years outpatient infusion/oncology nursing experience
- Chemo certification required (ONS/ONCC)
- BLS certification required
- Experience with EPIC documentation

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Administer and monitor chemotherapy and biologics to patients.
- Provide care and access for ports, PICC lines, and central lines; perform central line blood draws.
- Manage extravasation and cytotoxic spill procedures.
- Administer blood products, antiemetics, and growth factors.
- Perform IV starts and maintenance, and monitor for abnormal lab results and signs of sepsis.
- Educate and support patients and families in an outpatient oncology setting.

COMPLIANCE / NOTES
- Orientation: 64 hours
- Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only)
- Reference requirement: 2 professional references (at least 1 must be a manager/director or formal supervisor)
- Valid compact or state license required at the time of submission
