Hearing Aid Specialist

Conduct comprehensive hearing evaluations and hearing screenings. Explain test results and educate patients on hearing health and treatment options. Recommend appropriate hearing aid solutions based on each patient's needs and lifestyle. Fit, program, adjust, and troubleshoot hearing aids from various manufacturers. Provide follow-up care, fine-tuning, maintenance, and counseling to ensure optimal device performance and patient satisfaction. Educate patients and caregivers on the proper use, care, and maintenance of hearing devices. Maintain accurate clinical documentation and patient records in accordance with regulatory standards. Collaborate with audiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care. Schedule follow-up appointments and support day-to-day clinic operations. Deliver outstanding customer service while building long-term patient relationships. Deliver outstanding customer service while building long-term patient relationships. Qualifications Active Hearing Aid Specialist license (or eligibility for licensure in the state of practice). Experience performing hearing evaluations, audiometric testing, and hearing aid fittings. Strong knowledge of hearing aid programming, verification, troubleshooting, and follow-up care. Excellent patient counseling and communication skills. Strong customer service and relationship-building abilities. Experience using hearing aid programming software and electronic medical records (EMR) systems. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in a hearing healthcare clinic, audiology practice, ENT clinic, or similar medical setting. Experience working with multiple hearing aid manufacturers and programming platforms. Familiarity with hearing conservation, tinnitus counseling, and balance-related services is a plus.
