Specialty Representative, Psychiatry - Birmingham, AL

Field-based specialty sales representative role focused on psychiatry products in the Birmingham, AL territory. The position involves executing brand strategy, managing customer relationships, and driving sales performance while maintaining compliance with healthcare industry regulations.
Responsibilities
- Execute brand strategy and tactics in assigned territory to meet sales, KPI, and financial targets
- Develop and execute call plans with pre-call objectives and post-call evaluations to optimize customer coverage and sales opportunities
- Build and maintain trusted customer relationships by addressing needs, handling objections, and developing win-win agreements
- Gather and share market intelligence on competitors, disease states, and customer needs with field and brand teams
- Identify and develop disease state experts and physician advocates to support brand performance
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in health, sciences, pharmacy, or business; or five years industry experience with three in pharmaceutical/health sector
- Proven sales performance track record and strong presentation skills
- Valid driver's license and ability to pass drug screening and safe driving requirements
- Meet all healthcare industry representative credentialing requirements in assigned territory
- Strategic thinking, business acumen, and ability to operate in matrix environments
- Preferred: Commercial pharmaceutical sales experience in physician/account-based selling or managed healthcare
