Director of Nursing (DON) / Registered Nurse (RN) – Long-Term Care (LTC)

Location: Portland, OR 97218

Job Type: 13-Week Contract | Local & Traveler

Schedule: Variable Days | 40 Hours/Week

Pay Rate: $2,600 - $3,100/Week (Based on Experience & Eligibility)

We are seeking an experienced Director of Nursing (DON) to lead nursing operations within a Long-Term Care facility. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership experience, regulatory knowledge, and a commitment to delivering high-quality resident care.

• Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program.

• Active Oregon RN License required.

• Director of Nursing (DON) experience required.

• BLS Certification required.

• Long-Term Care, Skilled Nursing, or Rehabilitation leadership experience required.

• BSN preferred.

• EMR experience preferred.

• Oversee daily nursing operations and clinical services.

• Ensure compliance with state, federal, and facility regulations.

• Supervise and mentor RNs, LPNs, and CNAs.

• Lead resident assessments, care planning, and quality initiatives.

• Monitor infection control, resident safety, and clinical outcomes.

• Participate in staff hiring, training, scheduling, and evaluations.

• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and reporting.

• Collaborate with physicians, residents, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
