NDE Assistant

TEAM, Inc. is seeking an entry-level NDE Assistant in Indianapolis, IN. Position Summary:- TEAM, Inc. is seeking an entry-level NDE Assistant in Indianapolis, IN. The role supports certified NDT technicians in executing non-destructive testing procedures across client locations in refining, petrochemical, power, nuclear, aerospace, and municipal sectors. Responsibilities:- Assist certified NDT technicians in setting up and carrying out inspections (UT, MT, PT, RT). Prepare, clean, organize, and transport materials, tools, and testing equipment to and from job sites. Support radiation safety practices and assist in securing work zones for radiographic testing. Perform general support labor including rigging, lifting, and setting up access equipment. Complete field reports, timesheets, and associated operational documentation as directed. Comply with site-specific protocols, client safety regulations, and TEAM's Life Critical Expectations. Qualifications Requirements:- High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Valid driver’s license with an acceptable motor vehicle record. Ability to pass pre-employment drug/alcohol screenings and background checks. Ability to obtain TWIC, DISA, and other required site access credentials. Willingness to travel and work in field environments (confined spaces, elevated areas, variable weather). Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds, maneuver via ladders and stairs, and work flexible or extended schedules. Preferred Qualifications:- Previous exposure to NDT, construction, or industrial plant environments. Basic understanding of NDT methods and terminology. Current TWIC, OSHA 10/30, or other industry safety certifications. Hands‑on experience with mechanical tools and equipment.
