Job Description

An established manufacturing company is seeking a  Material Handler to join its 1st shift team in Strongsville, OH. In this role, you will use forklifts and other material handling equipment to move, stage, and pull materials throughout the facility. You will help ensure production areas have the materials they need while maintaining an organized and safe work environment. This position is ideal for someone with forklift and warehouse or manufacturing experience who enjoys a hands-on role.

Responsibilities:

• Operate forklifts to safely move materials throughout the facility.
• Pull and stage materials according to production needs and work orders.
• Deliver materials to designated production and storage areas.
• Organize materials and maintain accurate placement within warehouse and production areas.
• Assist with additional material handling, warehouse, and production duties as needed.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Previous forklift operating experience.
• Previous material handling, warehouse, or manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to safely move, pull, and stage materials in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to follow work instructions and maintain an organized work area.
• Commitment to following all workplace and forklift safety procedures.

The base pay rate for this position is $18.00 per hour , excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final compensation will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity.
