Exciting Opportunity for Night Shift Charge RN!

Job Description:


- Seeking an experienced RN with a passion for patient care
- Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30)
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required
- Previous travel experience necessary
- Every other weekend commitment (Saturday and Sunday)
- Float as needed to provide exceptional care
- Willingness to work Charge RN shifts as required
- Unit Details:
- 29-bed unit caring for adult to geriatric orthopedic and medical-surgical patients
- Telemetry monitoring available for enhanced patient care
- Physical therapy gym on the unit for convenient therapy access
- High-volume populations: total joint replacements, fracture repairs, kyphoplasties
- Moderate-volume populations: various surgical procedures, inpatient care
- Minimum Qualifications:
- BLS certification required
- Charge RN experience essential
- Familiarity with Epic charting system
- Patient ratio experience of 5-6
- Key Skills Preferred:
- Accessing/Managing Ports
- BiPAP/CPAP management
- Blood Product Administration
- Central line blood draw proficiency
- Telemetry and Dysrhythmias interpretation competency
- Wound Care and management
- Additional Information:
- Collaborative interdisciplinary support including IV Teams, Physical Therapy, and more
- Patient care for both orthopedic and medical surgical needs

- Important Requirements:
- Active nursing license must be in hand at submission
- Current driver's license required for address verification
- EKG exam completion necessary (2 attempts allowed)
