Senior Vice President, OPS Control ManagerWe’re seeking a future team member for the role of Senior Vice President, OPS Control Manager to join our Controls Hub team. This role is located in Pittsburgh, PA.In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:Through subordinate managers, identify, analyze, monitor and minimize business risks, ensuring proper control policies and procedures are in placeManage multiple teams responsible for control testing and reporting on control standardsDevelop training on policies and procedures concerning controls and risk managementMonitor results on key risks, errors/near misses, reconciliations and root cause analyses, analyzing and determining appropriate management interventionTo be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience required; advanced degree preferred7-10 years of total work experience with 1-3 years of management experience preferredExperience in the securities or financial services industry preferredProven ability to manage large or specialized teams of Control professionals or multiple teams, including matrixed and geographically dispersed teamsDemonstrated skills in recruiting, directing, motivating and developing staff to maximize individual and team contributionsAt BNY, our culture allows us to run our company better and enables employees’ growth and success.
