Class A Driver – Entry Level – Paid Training American Driver is recruiting in Athens, AL for Class A drivers who are new to the industry and ready to start building a career in OTR trucking. This is a full-time W2 position. Training is paid, the freight is consistent, and the equipment is late-model. Training: 4–6 weeks with a dedicated mentor, fully paid Hands‑on from day one — live loads, real deadlines HOS, ELD, pre/post trip inspections all covered Weekly pay from the start Solo driving begins at $0.56 CPM after completion Freight and Miles: No‑touch dry van 60% drop and hook EASTERN routes, consistent year‑round freight Pay Structure: $0.56–$0.65 CPM depending on experience Weekly take‑home typically $1,200–$1,500 Additional pay for stops, layovers, and breakdowns Pay increase every six months $300 orientation pay Home Time: Every two weeks, scheduled in advance Equipment: Freightliner or Kenworth (2022–2025) APUs on all assigned trucks Medical, dental, and vision after 30 days 401(k) with company match PTO and paid holidays Rider and pet policy from day one What You Need: Class A CDL, age 21+ Must have completed a minimum of 120 hours of instruction from an accredited CDL school No major violations in the last 3 years No DUI in the last 5 years Must pass urine and hair follicle drug test #J-18808-Ljbffr
