Travel Respiratory Therapist (CRT / RRT)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Night Shift | Expected 36 hours/week | Weekend hours required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide general floor respiratory care across a patient population ranging from neonates through geriatric patients
• Perform ABG collection and analysis using RapidPoint 500 ABG Analyzer
• Manage and monitor mechanical ventilation using 980 ventilators and V-60 NIV devices
• Administer and oversee non-invasive ventilation (NIV) and related respiratory therapies
• Document patient care and clinical data accurately within the Meditech EHR system
• Support treatment of common diagnoses including COPD, CHF, Diabetes, and Pneumoconiosis

Required Qualifications

• Active Virginia State Respiratory Therapy License
• Credentialed as a Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
• AHA BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of respiratory therapy experience
• Proficiency in general floor care, ABG collection and analysis, mechanical ventilation, and NIV

Preferred Experience / Skills

• ACLS certification preferred
• PALS certification preferred
• NRP certification preferred
• Experience working with a broad patient population including neonatal through geriatric care settings
