Position Summary:

This position is responsible for all sales activities, from lead generation through close, for Menehune Water Company's Kauai Division. The Sales Representative develops and maintains residential and commercial client relationships, sets up new accounts, and coordinates with the Division Manager and office staff to support new and ongoing sales.

Salary Information:

• $43,200 + commission up to $85,000

Minimum Job Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED required

• Valid government-issued ID for I-9 employment eligibility verification

• Sensitivity to confidential matters required

Qualifications:

• 3–5 years of sales experience preferred

• Valid State of Hawaii driver's license with clean abstract

• Proficiency in administrative functions with well-developed written and verbal communication skills

• Competency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)

• Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 60 lbs as needed to complete essential job duties

• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills

• Ability to make independent decisions and work with minimal supervision

• Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented

• Ability to work under deadlines and occasional pressure, using sound judgment and discretion

• Maintain consistent attendance and adhere to assigned schedules

Key Responsibilities:

Sales & Account Management:

• Promote and sell Menehune Water Company products and services to potential residential and commercial clients

• Generate leads and follow up on leads and referrals through close

• Establish and maintain current client and potential client relationships

• Set up new client accounts with coolers, bottles, and/or miscellaneous products as needed

Account and Client Management:

• Acquire necessary documentation for new accounts (contracts, invoices, payments, etc.) and coordinate with office personnel to complete required paperwork

• Coordinate with office staff on new account information and contract issues

• Coordinate with the Division Manager on routing and delivery information

• Report all sales-related issues, including cancellation of contracts, to the Division Manager

• Coordinate with the Division Manager on promotional issues including ads, marketing, and donations

Administrative Support:

• Perform a variety of administrative functions as assigned

• Maintain accurate client and account records

• Complete other related duties as assigned

Customer Service:

• Provide professional and courteous service to customers

• Address customer concerns and escalate issues when necessary

• Represent the company in a positive and professional manner
