Physical Therapist - Travel Contract

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
• Active Colorado Physical Therapy license required to start the assignment.
• BLS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required.
• Outpatient orthopedic experience preferred, including evaluation and treatment of musculoskeletal conditions.
• Experience performing 60-minute evaluations and 30-minute follow-up visits preferred.
• Ability to develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans and document per clinic and regulatory requirements.
• Demonstrated competency in safe patient handling and clinic safety practices.
• Ability to supervise and delegate to therapy assistants and support student clinicians when applicable.
• Professional liability adherence to state practice act and maintenance of professional licensure and continuing education.

Assignment Details

• Facility Type: Outpatient clinic.
• Schedule: 40 hours per week, 5x8 shift pattern.
• Duration: 13 week assignment with client preference for longer-term engagement.
• Patient Session Structure: 60-minute evaluations and 30-minute follow-up visits.
• Caseload Focus: Outpatient physical therapy with emphasis on orthopedics and functional return to community activities.
