Description

• Conduct comprehensive assessments in both inpatient and outpatient environments, customizing treatment strategies for each patient's unique needs
• Deliver targeted physical therapy services that enhance mobility, strength, and overall function
• Engage in interprofessional collaboration with physicians, nursing teams, case managers, and other rehabilitation experts to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Educate patients and their families on therapeutic goals, effective discharge strategies, and home exercise regimens
• Maintain accurate documentation of evaluations, treatments, and progress in line with facility protocols and regulatory standards
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to ensure unified and effective patient care

Education

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or an equivalent degree from an accredited institution

Certifications

• State licensure as a Physical Therapist
• CPR certification is preferred
• Specialty certifications (e.g., in geriatrics or neurology) are advantageous but not necessary

Skills

• Prior experience in the field is highly preferred
• A proven ability to care for patients with multifaceted medical challenges and mobility restrictions
