Description

• Assess patients in both inpatient and outpatient environments and create tailored treatment strategies
• Implement physical therapy modalities aimed at enhancing mobility, strength, coordination, and overall function
• Work collaboratively with nursing staff, physicians, case managers, and rehabilitation experts to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Instruct patients and their families regarding therapy objectives, discharge planning, and at-home exercise routines
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of evaluations, treatments, and patient progress according to facility policies and regulatory standards
• Engage in interdisciplinary team meetings to ensure cohesive and coordinated patient care

Education

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or an equivalent degree from an accredited institution

Certifications

• State licensure as a Physical Therapist
• CPR certification is preferred
• Additional specialized certifications (e.g., neurological, geriatric) are advantageous but not mandatory

• Prior clinical experience strongly preferred
