Pay Range:

$55,600.00 - $91,450.00

Bio-Techne is seeking a proactive, detail-oriented, and people-focused Human Resources Specialist to join our global People Team on a full-time basis. The Human Resources Specialist plays a key role in supporting core HR operations, employee lifecycle processes, and cross-functional initiatives that enhance efficiency, compliance, and employee experience. This role partners closely with the broader People team to optimize workflows, maintain high-quality documentation, and support ongoing organizational programs.

This position is ideal for a motivated HR professional looking to grow their expertise across HR Centers of Excellence while directly influencing meaningful organizational improvements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver seamless onboarding, offboarding and core HR operations processes

  • Audit and update employee information to maintain alignment with company standards, compliance requirements, and industry best practices

  • Serve as a first point of contact for employees, addressing day-to-day questions, system navigation needs, and policy inquiries while ensuring employees feel supported and informed.

  • Create, enhance, and standardize forms and SOPs in alignment with HR governance and quality standards

  • Conduct data audits, assist with system updates, and maintain data integrity while supporting reporting needs

  • Identify opportunities to streamline HR processes around onboarding, offboarding, documentation, propose solutions, and support implementation of new tools and practices

  • Collaborate with internal partners across departments to support HR programs, compliance activities and change management efforts.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).

  • 1-2 years of HR experience preferred; internships, HR support roles, or relevant project experience welcomed.

  • Familiarity with HR systems (e.g., Workday) and data management tools (e.g., Smartsheet, Microsoft Excel) preferred

  • Conducting data audits and maintaining data integrity

Communication: These responsibilities require clear written and verbal communication, information sequencing, and context delivery.
