Pay Rate: $33–$36+ per hour (commensurate with experience)

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dependable Senior Electrician to join our commercial operations team. This role is ideal for an experienced professional who can work independently, lead projects on-site, and ensure all electrical work is completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with applicable codes and standards. The Senior Electrician will play a key role in installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems across commercial facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial buildings, including lighting, power distribution, panels, transformers, and control systems

• Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to plan and execute electrical work

• Lead and mentor junior electricians and apprentices on job sites

• Troubleshoot complex electrical issues and implement effective solutions

• Ensure all work complies with NEC, local codes, and company safety standards

• Conduct inspections, testing, and preventative maintenance on electrical systems

• Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and other trades to meet project timelines

• Accurately document work performed, materials used, and service reports

• Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean, safe work environment

Qualifications & Experience

• Journeyman or Master Electrician license-a plus

• 7+ years of commercial electrical experience preferred

• Strong knowledge of NEC and commercial electrical systems

• Proven ability to lead projects and work independently

• Experience with conduit bending, panel installations, and commercial lighting systems

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

• Ability to pass background check and drug screening (if applicable)

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

• Comfortable working on ladders, lifts, and at heights

• Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and work in confined spaces for extended periods
