THERAPIST (MA/MSW)

Therapist (MA/MSW) Outpatient Psych- Part Time
This position provides psychoeducational and psychotherapeutic groups and individual therapy and family therapy to individuals who are seriously mentally ill. Groups focus on symptom management and medication management, which assists patients at functioning at their highest potential within their community and avoiding re-hospitalization.
Qualifications:
Essential Knowledge/Skills:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Knowledge of Patient Rights.
Minimum Essential Experience:
Specific education and/or experience working with geriatric and/or adult behavioral health patients. Minimum of 12 months clinical experience in the field of Mental Health required.
Minimum Essential Education:
Master's degree in Social Work, psychology, counseling or a related field required. Assaultive Behavior Management training required within 90 days from date of hire.
Required Licensure/Certifications:
Current LCSW, AMFT, MFT license required. Current BLS (CPR) Certificate from American Heart Associates required.
