Technology Specialist (Video Compression)

What You Will Do Draft patent applications for innovative clients, including descriptions and figures. Correspond with the patent office regarding pending patent applications. Advise patent litigation teams based on your technical and scientific expertise. Interview inventors to gather new invention ideas. Who You Are Strong background and experience in video compression technologies. Experience with standard‑essential patents related to video coding standards such as MPEG, HEVC, AV1, etc. (preferred). Advanced degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or equivalent work experience. 2+ years of patent prosecution experience. Superior writing skills and excellent academic credentials. Registered with the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office. The expected salary range for this position is $100,000 – $185,000, dependent on qualifications and experience.
