USTASC is a rapidly growing security consulting agency that provides armed/unarmed security officers, special event operations, high-risk transport, private detective/investigative services, and security consulting to our clients throughout Maryland. We also provide extensive security operations to multiple clients in the Ocean City, MD area.

Unlike most other security companies there is room to advance and laterally transfer to other rolls such as detective, special police (headquarters only), transport and others.

Many employees are retained after the season based on performance. Year round employees are eligible for benefits after probationary period to include heath care, AFLAC, 401K, vacation and sick leave per Maryland standard.

We provide training (classroom and on site) and uniforms.

Responsibilities

• Patrol premises regularly to maintain order and establish presence
• Monitor and authorize entrance of vehicles or people in the property
• Identify wrongdoers or trespassers from the area, call for police assistance
• Issue trespass notices when required
• Secure all exits, doors and windows after end of operations
• Check surveillance cameras periodically to identify disruptions or unlawful acts
• Investigate people for suspicious activity or possessions
• Provide assistance to people in need

• Submit reports of daily surveillance activity and important occurrences

Skills

• High School diploma is required
• Criminal background check & Maryland State Police licensing required
