Overview Welder – Fire Protection Division PACE Supply is looking for dependable, motivated Welders to join our Fire Protection Division in Nampa, ID. As a Welder, you’ll work with semi-automatic and robotic welding equipment to weld components, fabricate and repair parts, and assist with pipe installations and repairs. You’ll play an important role in supporting our team while maintaining a safe, clean, and organized work environment. What to Expect: Hands-on welding and fabrication experience Opportunities to develop your technical skills A consistent weekday schedule with no weekend shifts A team-focused environment where safety and quality come first Schedule: Monday–Friday, starting at 8:00 AM Responsibilities Learn to set up, operate, and maintain welding equipment and production machinery. Weld components using semi-automatic and robotic welding equipment. Fabricate, assemble, and repair basic components as needed. Assist with pipe installation, fabrication, and repair work. Load, unload, and move products and materials safely. Read and follow work orders, blueprints, schematics, and other job-related documentation. Inspect and maintain equipment and machinery to ensure safe, reliable operation. Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work area. Follow established operating procedures, quality standards, and workplace safety guidelines. Recognize, report, and help address potential safety hazards. Qualifications An equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered. High school diploma or equivalent credential required. Previous experience in a welding, fabrication or manufacturing environment is a plus but not required. Basic mathematical knowledge Steel-toed boots and appropriate safety gear Ability to stand, crouch, and lift objects throughout your shift Physical stamina and manual dexterity Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work. Excellent teamwork and communication skills. Work Environment Physical Requirements: The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear. Ability to lift items that weigh up to 50 lbs. regularly. This includes carrying, dragging, and walking with materials, as well as using a hand-truck. Prolonged periods of standing or sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Specific vision abilities required for this job include distance vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception. Environmental Conditions: The employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts and outside weather conditions. Occasionally, the employee may be exposed to high, precarious places and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
