Senior Global Category Manager

We are Givaudan, a global leader in flavor and fragrance solutions, and we are looking for a Senior Global Category Manager for Return Materials & Technical (RM) Beverages reporting to the Head of Procurement RM T&W Beverages. This role can be based in Cincinnati, Sao Paulo, or Netherlands, working in a hybrid model (4 days at the office, 1 day remote). Salary for Cincinnati is $160,000 to $180,000, based on technical experience. Responsibilities Sourcing Strategy Manage the key category according to the current procurement strategy. Drive the implementation of RM into the category. Analyze market and implement risk management strategies for the portfolio. Lead sourcing strategy development within cross‑functional team for main categories. Drive sourcing strategy implementation by leading major RFQs and key negotiations. Portfolio Management Negotiate contracts globally. Select, manage and audit suppliers. Identify opportunities for portfolio optimization and involve creation and manufacturing in development of optimization plans. Own key supplier relationship, and lead GBS escalated supplier conflict resolutions. Communicate to suppliers any forthcoming changes specifications. Ensure contract cover for materials and supplier compliance to contracts. Ensure vendor performance at target levels. Stakeholder Relationship Communicate to main internal stakeholders/Segment BP any market conditions changes which may affect the Business. Support the responsible sourcing / Sourcing4good projects implementation and provide information to Procurement Sustainability Manager – in full agreement on our global sustainability strategy. Cost Optimization Provide information for business planning process. Develop cost reduction projects. Provide price forecast and market trends for main commodities. People Management Develop category managers supported by proper development planning. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a related field. 7+ years of experience in Procurement. Knowledge of F&F industry/FMCG Manufacturing/Chemical industry. Specific technical and market knowledge in the respective category. Fluent in English; Spanish is a plus. 30% travel required.
