Job Description

Pharmacist, Days (9:30am-6pm; 1:30pm-10pm, 1-2 nights a week possible) -12 weeks, contract to hire

Environment: LTC Mail Order
Shift: M-F, days (9:30am -6pm; 1:30pm -10pm) 1 to 2 nights a week possible.

Job Duties:

Verify, prepare, and dispense prescription medications

Counsel patients on medications, dosage, side effects, and drug interactions
Ensure prescriptions and pharmacy operations comply with applicable laws and regulations
Maintain accurate, confidential patient and pharmacy records
Identify and address medication-related issues and communicate with healthcare providers
Compound medications and prepare sterile solutions as needed
Supervise pharmacy technicians and support staff
Maintain medication and supply inventory
Provide medication management and patient education services

Required:
Pharmacy experience.
LTC experience a plus
Rhode Island pharmacy license.

Pay: $58/hr,
