*Lead the strategy, technology, and execution behind large-scale construction projects while helping shape the future of digital construction delivery.*

We're seeking a Virtual Construction Manager to lead and grow an organization's Virtual Design & Construction (VDC) function. This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for driving BIM strategy, establishing standards and best practices, supporting project teams, and advancing the use of construction technology across the organization.

You'll work closely with operations, project management, engineering, and field teams to ensure projects are delivered efficiently, accurately, and with the highest level of coordination throughout the project lifecycle.

What You'll Do

• Lead the organization's Virtual Construction and BIM/VDC initiatives.
• Develop, implement, and maintain company-wide virtual construction standards and workflows.
• Support project teams from preconstruction through project completion.
• Oversee BIM execution, model coordination, clash detection, and project delivery strategies.
• Manage and develop Virtual Construction resources and team members.
• Collaborate with project executives, operations leaders, designers, engineers, and trade partners.
• Drive adoption of construction technology solutions that improve project outcomes.
• Support model-based coordination, planning, scheduling, and construction execution efforts.
• Ensure consistency, quality, and efficiency across all virtual construction deliverables.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend process improvements to enhance project performance.

What We're Looking For

• 8+ years of BIM, VDC, or Virtual Construction experience.
• 3+ years of leadership, team management, or department oversight experience.
• Strong understanding of project delivery and construction workflows.
• Experience supporting large commercial, industrial, healthcare, advanced manufacturing, mission-critical, or complex construction projects.
• Ability to influence project teams and drive company-wide adoption of best practices.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.

• MEP coordination and engineering environments.
• Large-scale design-build or integrated project delivery projects.
• Construction technology implementation.
• BIM execution planning and standards development.
• Model-based coordination and clash detection.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Saint Louis, MO.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $130000.00 - $150000.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
