Direct Support Professional

Our Client is seeking a motivated professional to work as a direct support professional in PG & Montgomery County. The ideal candidate should possess Passion for helping others to live fulfilling lives Energy and enthusiasm Effective problem‑solving skills Effective ability in coaching life skills, coping skills and boundaries setting. A high level of commitment to take initiative and maintain a positive "can do" attitude. Excellent customer service skills and ability to work effectively with family members/guardians. Ability to exercise a lot of patience. Basic computer skills for documenting daily reports. Qualifications High school diploma. Prior experience preferred but not necessary. The ideal candidate will possess an enthusiasm for working with individuals with unique challenges and have a keen interest in advancing their quality of life. Must have valid driver's license, clean driving record and ability to drive company vehicle to transport individuals to community activities. CPR/First Aid certification required or must be obtained prior to starting. Responsibilities Assisting with activities of daily living as well as planning and supporting people to live a good life and follow dreams. #J-18808-Ljbffr
