Clinical Research Psychologist (Casual) (Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences)

Child and Adolescent Psychiatry is seeking a Clinical Research Psychologist whose focus of this position will be the provision of diagnostic interviews and clinical assessments for an NIH-funded research study on the treatment of adults with Tourette Syndrome. For duration of the project, the Senior Research Psychologist will conduct research assessments for the study, participate in weekly video consultation calls, complete rating scales in an electric data capture system (i.e., REDCap), and participate in other study-related meetings. The Clinical Research Psychologist will have the opportunity to be involved with academic presentations and/or authorship on peer-reviewed publications emanating from this project. Due to the casual and remote nature of the position conducting study-related assessments, some evening and/or weekend work may be required.Specific Duties & ResponsibilitiesComplete necessary Human Subjects Certificates and Training.Administer structured psychiatric diagnostic interviews with fidelity (e.g., DIAMOND).Administer semi-structured clinical assessments with fidelity (e.g., YGTSS, Y-BOCS, I-PUTS, HM/VTS, CGI-S/-I).Complete data entry in electronic data capture system (e.g., REDCap) in a timely manner.Record study-related assessments and/or review study-related assessments to monitor fidelity.Attend weekly video consultation calls on study assessment administration to monitor fidelity.Attend research team meetings and/or study related meetings as requested.Minimum QualificationsDoctorate in Counseling or Clinical Psychology or M.D in Psychiatry.Two years of counseling, psychotherapy, psychological or psychiatric research, or directly related experience.Licensed as a psychologist in Maryland.PSYPACT licensed.Prior experience with administering study related assessments.Additional education may substitute for required experience, and additional related experience may substitute for required education beyond a high school diploma/graduation equivalent, to the extent permitted by the JHU equivalency formula.Classified Title: Research Psychologist Job Posting Title (Working Title): Clinical Research Psychologist (Casual) (Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences) Role/Level/Range: ACRP/04/MD Starting Salary Range: $29.33 - $51.30 HRLY ($60,000 targeted; Commensurate w/exp.)
