Senior HSSEQ ManagerPosition SummaryWe are currently seeking a Manager of Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) to join a JLL client account team within the Industrials vertical. The HSE Manager will serve as a key member of the account team, providing HSSEQ leadership, advisory, and management services across multiple client facilities throughout the United States. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong technical expertise and the ability to drive a culture of safety excellence across geographically dispersed operations.Travel Requirement: Approximately 20% travel to various operations sites for event investigations, audits, and business meetings.Key ResponsibilitiesHSSEQ Leadership & StrategyServe as the primary point of contact for all HSSEQ requirements and activities for the account, communicating needs, results, and strategic recommendations to the Account Leadership TeamLead the continued development and refinement of JLL's "One Team Safer Together" HSSEQ culture and training programs across the accountSupport the HSSEQ Americas team in rolling out new compliance and best management practices programs across the account and JLL-wide initiativesProgram Management & DocumentationMaintain comprehensive documentation describing the HSSE program including playbooks, procedures, standards, and records required by JLL, regulatory agencies, and client specificationsDevelop and maintain account training matrix; manage and assign online training requirements; deliver training and presentations on specific topics applicable to account employeesCreate and maintain regulatory compliance registers for each account location ensuring current and accurate trackingComplete and maintain Hazard/PPE Assessments for all account activitiesIncident Management & InvestigationEnsure accidents, injuries, near misses/good catches, and other HSSEQ events are properly captured, managed, and reportedManage OSHA 301/300 recordkeeping requirements for the account and serve as Account Administrator for the JLL Incident Management SystemLead or support investigations of HSSEQ events, conduct root cause analysis, track implementation of corrective actions, and prepare lessons-learned communications across account operationsDevelop trending analysis and proactive strategies to prevent future incidentsCompliance & AssuranceEnsure compliance with all HSSEQ sections of the JLL Client Assurance Program (JCAP)Support environmental compliance efforts as specified in the JLL/client Master Service Agreement (MSA) and Statement of Work (SOW)Conduct periodic site visits to investigate events, perform audits, and verify compliance with established programs and regulatory requirementsStakeholder CollaborationInterface effectively with site leadership, operations teams, clients, and regulatory agencies to drive HSSEQ excellencePartner with cross-functional teams to integrate safety considerations into operational planning and executionRequired SkillsAssociate or Bachelor's degree in Safety Management, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Science, Occupational Health, or related field (degree may be waived with 7+ years of relevant experience or professional HSE certification)5+ years of progressive HSE experience in industrial, manufacturing, or facilities management environmentsComprehensive knowledge of Environmental, Safety, and Occupational Health regulations (OSHA, EPA, DOT)Proven project management skills with demonstrated ability to balance multi-site activities and prioritiesStrong verbal and written communication skills with ability to influence at all organizational levelsExperience with incident management systems and OSHA recordkeeping requirementsProven track record of delivering effective safety training and presentationsAnalytical and creative problem-solving skills with ability to employ intelligent flexibilityProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining strong team collaborationPreferred SkillsProfessional HSE certification(s): CSP (Certified Safety Professional), CIH (Certified Industrial Hygienist), CHMM (Certified Hazardous Materials Manager), or equivalentExperience in Industrials vertical including manufacturing, distribution, or logistics operationsFamiliarity with ISO 45001, ISO 14001, or similar management system standardsBackground in environmental compliance and sustainability programsExperience with safety management software platforms and data analytics toolsKnowledge of behavior-based safety programs and safety culture transformation initiativesLean or Six Sigma certification with experience applying continuous improvement methodologies to HSE programsExperience working within client account structures in corporate real estate or facilities managementBilingual capabilities (English/Spanish) beneficial for diverse workforce engagementWhat JLL OffersAt JLL, we're committed to creating a workplace that supports your professional growth and personal wellbeing.
