We are dedicated to taking care of our caregivers.Conducting Virtual InterviewsWeekly Pay Sign on Bonus Paid Training Time and a half on holidaysWe are hiring for Hanover and surrounding areas (Hanover, New Oxford, Littlestown, Gettysburg, McSherrystown, Thomasville, Abbottstown, East Berlin)BenefitsWe offer weekly payWe offer competitive payWe offer flexible schedules to work around your individual needs.We provide paid hands-on training prior to our caregivers starting their first assignment.We offer online continued education for our caregivers.We offer a SIMPLE IRA with employer match and supplemental insurance benefits.We offer discounted YMCA memberships and a discount on Verizon wireless accounts.We reward our caregivers through our employee incentive programs.We offer employee and client referral bonuses.We provide PPE (gloves and masks) for our caregivers upon request.ResponsibilitiesPart Time to Full Time hoursProvide personal assistance for elderly patients or those recovering from surgeries, injuries, or accidents by attending to their basic needs, such as showering, bathing, dressing and eatingRemind clients to take prescribed medication, assist clients with ambulation, and help with physical therapy exercisesHelp with mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks, etc.)Assist with planning and preparing mealsComplete client’s shopping or accompany them to successfully do soProvide local transportation to appointments/errandsPerform housekeeping dutiesAct quickly and responsibly in cases of emergencyReport any changes in client's condition/behavior and report and incidents/injuriesQualificationsEvery other weekend is required to workEnjoy working in a one-on-one setting, eager to improve and continuously learn new skillsAbility to perform all essential job functions with or without accommodationsValid driver’s license and reliable vehicle with current auto insuranceAbility to pass Pennsylvania background check and FBI background check, if neededAbility to pass online competency exam or provide current CNA certificationValidated ability to act in a compassionate and supportive mannerAvailable to work different shifts, including nights and/or weekendsPrior experience in a healthcare, hospitality, or in-home care environment (preferred but not required, 1 year of experience)Willingness to enforce health and safety standardsSupportive and compassionateHigh School Diploma or equivalent/Experience as a CaregiverTake pride in providing high quality careCOVID-19 considerations:The safety of our caregivers and clients are very important to us.
