Mammography Technologist

Location: Atlanta, Georgia

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Shift: 8-hour days, Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM

Job Description: The Mammography Technologist will work in a high-volume breast care imaging facility, primarily performing breast imaging services including mammograms, breast ultrasounds, bone density tests, and breast biopsy procedures. The facility handles approximately 100 patients per day, requiring an experienced technologist with a minimum of 2 years of recent experience in the specialty.

Responsibilities:

• Perform mammography and related breast imaging procedures.
• Ensure high-quality imaging in accordance with patient care standards.
• Maintain patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in mammography.
• Current ARRT certification in Mammography.
• AHA BLS certification.
• Prior travel assignment experience is preferred.

Holiday Expectations:

• MUST work 2 major holidays from: Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day.
• AND 1 minor holiday: The Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, New Year's Eve.
