Otolaryngology Physician

We are seeking a Locum Tenens Physician - Otolaryngology in Grand Forks, North Dakota.

Shift: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, plus night call via pager
Start Date: ASAP
End Date: Ongoing
Position Details:

• General ENT coverage
• Clinic, hospital consults, and possible OR days for scheduled surgical cases
• Weeknight call coverage from 5:00 PM - 8:00 AM
• Weekend 24-hour call coverage
• Approximately 16 patients per day in clinic
• Minimal patient calls and callbacks while on call
• No significant facial trauma coverage required

Patient Population: Adult and Pediatric
Setting: Clinic and Hospital
Responsibilities:

• General ENT clinic coverage
• Hospital consults
• Scheduled surgical cases in the OR
• Weeknight and weekend call coverage
• Management of adult and pediatric ENT patients

Required Procedures:

• General ENT evaluations and treatment
• ENT surgical procedures as scheduled
• Hospital consultations
• Adult and pediatric ENT care

EMR System: Epic
Support Staff:

• 1 RN
• 2 LPNs
• 2 Registration Specialists
• Audiologists

On-Call/Weekends:

• Weeknight call: 5:00 PM - 8:00 AM
• Weekend 24-hour call coverage required

Requirements:

- Board Certified in Otolaryngology or Truly Board Eligible (within 3 years of residency) - Required
- Active IMLC or Active State License - Required
- Minimum 1 year of experience - Required
- Must be comfortable seeing both Adult and Pediatric patients - Required
- Experience with General ENT clinic, hospital consults, and surgical cases - Required
- Epic EMR experience - Required
