7am-3:30pm (Monday-Friday) Provides advanced secretarial services to support the day-to-day operation of the nursing office of Wayne Memorial Hospital. Primary duties are to provide secretarial support to the Director of Patient Care Services and nursing management staff.
Minimum Requirements
- Requires the ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing; excellent grammar and writing skills necessary; shorthand or speedwriting skills necessary.
- High school diploma required; Associate degree in business, or technical school for business/secretarial skills development
- Excellent interpersonal skills;
- Must be detail oriented;
- Requires ability to shift simultaneously between several duties and maintain continuity;
- Two (2) years of recent, related secretarial/clerical experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Computer knowledge required with experience and expertise with software, including, but not limited to MS Word, Excel, Power Point, etc
- Medical terminology knowledge necessary.
