Restaurant experience is preferred, but we are willing to train someone with a great attitude and willingness to work hard. Server Servers are responsible for creating an exceptional dining experience for every guest, with friendly and responsive service. Server Responsibilities Welcomes customers when they arrive at a restaurant. Introduces customers to the menu and announces daily or seasonal menu specials. Answers questions about menu items, ingredients, and pricing Takes customers' orders for food and drink by writing them on a ticket, and entering them into POSI. Communicates customer’s special requests to Expo/MOD Prepares non-alcoholic drinks and serves them to customers. Side-work (Opening, Running and Closing) Team Service Ensures that customers are satisfied with their meals and processes orders for additional courses if necessary. Removes used dishes, glasses, and flatware from tables. Maintains familiarity with menu items, specials, and restaurant information. Communicate guest requests or complaints. Answer, report, and follow MOD instructions. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude Maintain a clean work environment. Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers. Arrive on time and in clean, pressed uniform with a positive attitude ready to work. Complete tasks assigned by MOD in a timely manner. Server Qualifications At least 1-3 years’ experience as a server is preferred. Wine knowledge and cocktail knowledge is preferred, but willing to teach. POS experience is preferred, but willing to teach.
