Key Account Manager Architects & Designers

The Key Account Manager Architects & Designers (Dallas) is responsible for developing and managing key relationships with leading architects, interior designers, design firms, developers, and specification influencers throughout the Dallas/Fort Worth market, with a strong focus on luxury residential, hospitality, multifamily, mixed-use, and commercial projects.

This role is based in Dallas and owns the specification process locally, working closely with A&D firms to specify AXOR and hansgrohe products during the design phase. Once specifications are secured, projects are transitioned to the Global Projects team for execution, pricing coordination, and conversion support. The role plays a critical part in expanding the project pipeline, increasing specification wins, and strengthening hansgrohe's presence within the Texas design community.

Key Responsibilities

• Define strategy and target key A&D customers throughout the Dallas/Fort Worth market, focusing on luxury residential, hospitality, multifamily, commercial, and mixed-use developments.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with architects, interior designers, developers, and design firms throughout North Texas.
• Drive specification of AXOR and hansgrohe products by engaging customers early in the design and planning stages.
• Partner closely with Global Projects, regional sales teams, and internal stakeholders to transition specified projects through the sales pipeline.
• Execute a structured call cycle to ensure consistent customer engagement and market coverage.
• Develop and maintain Key Account Plans aligned with monthly, quarterly, and annual growth objectives.
• Identify and cultivate new specification opportunities while maintaining existing strategic relationships.
• Maintain accurate customer activity, project pipeline, and forecasting information within SAP C4C or CRM systems.
• Launch new products through Lunch & Learns, CEU presentations, showroom events, trade associations, and design community engagements.
• Collaborate with local dealer, showroom, and builder partners to support specification and project conversion efforts.
• Monitor competitor activity, market trends, and emerging design influences within the Texas market.
• Represent hansgrohe and AXOR at industry events, trade shows, networking functions, and professional association meetings.

Qualifications

• Minimum 35 years of experience in A&D sales, specification sales, key account management, or project-based sales environments.
• Strong understanding of the Dallas/Fort Worth architecture and design market.
• Experience working with architects, interior designers, developers, builders, and specification-driven projects.
• Proven ability to build long-term, trust-based relationships with key decision-makers.
• Experience utilizing CRM systems with strong pipeline management discipline (SAP C4C preferred).
• Excellent presentation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to influence stakeholders throughout complex project cycles.
• Self-motivated with strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to travel throughout the Dallas/Fort Worth territory and surrounding markets.
• Experience within luxury products, plumbing, kitchen & bath, building materials, interior finishes, or related industries preferred.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent combination of education and relevant experience considered.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in A&D, specification, project-based, or luxury product sales environments.
