Regional Maintenance Manager

Req: 8484Regional Maintenance Manager The Regional Maintenance Manager works closely with location and region and corporate management teams to provide maintenance in depth maintenance support. The position also involves ensuring a safe environment exists and that all maintenance activities comply with State, Federal, and Company requirements. Transdev is proud to offer:Competitive compensation package of $107,000 annually – $133,000 annually Benefits include:Vacation: minimum of two (2) weeksSick days: 5 daysHolidays: 12 days; 8 standard and 4 floatingOther standard benefits: 401(k) retirement plan, medical, dental and vision, life insurance, short-term disability, voluntary long-term disability.Key Responsibilities: Monitors, evaluates, and takes corrective action for improved performance of maintenance operations within region.Examines and evaluates current operations to develop action plans and strategies to maximize operational efficiencies.Fills in as Maintenance Manager when vacancies occur and assist General Managers with hiring new Maintenance Managers.Trains and monitors new and current technicians and Maintenance Manager in company requirements.Reviews KPI, and financial reports to identify problems/ challenge areas.Participates in start-ups and shutdowns as necessary.Assists with compliance regarding all environmental programs.Conducts annual vehicle audits for all locations in region.Monitors completion of maintenance related deficiencies reported on corporate audits.Provides feedback to General Managers and Region Staff as to the performance of maintenance managers in regionPerforms other duties and special projects assigned by the Director of Maintenance or RVP.Qualifications:Bachelor’s Degree preferred. ASE Master certifiedAdvance technical training. High School Diploma or equivalent is required. Five years’ proven experience in passenger transportation or comparable service industry maintenance management. Comprehensive knowledge of various performance indicators including KPI, Octave and financial statements. Independent thinking skills with high levels of prioritization skills. Excellent leadership, customer relations, and interpersonal skills to communicate and cooperate with clients and other departments. Knowledge of HR systems and tools.
