Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess the intensity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms in clients.

• Collaborate with clients to develop tailored treatment plans that consider their individual needs, preferences, and treatment goals.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to implement effective interventions.

• Provide psychoeducation to clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment options, and self-care practices.
\n
• Monitor and document client progress, modifying treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal therapeutic outcomes.

• Engage in integrated care by collaborating with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to offer comprehensive support to clients.
\n
• Stay informed of advancements in mood disorder research to continuously improve treatment strategies.
\n
• Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
\n
• Participate in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development opportunities.

• Actively advocate for clients’ mental health needs and support efforts to diminish stigma associated with mental health issues.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily focus on clients dealing with mood disorders, including depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety. You will have the opportunity to work with diverse populations, including individuals experiencing homelessness, refugees, and survivors of domestic abuse. This role is essential in providing support and resources to those most in need, significantly impacting their journey toward mental wellness.

Qualifications\n

• A valid and active Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) license in the state of Colorado.

• Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.

Compensation and Benefits\n
