Housekeeping Services

To provide housekeeping services on a daily basis in a manner that is convenient to the guests, and to promote a positive image of the resort and the casino through professional service and attention to detail.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Ensures compliance with the Kalispel Tribe of Indians- Internal Controls and Northern Quest Policies and Procedures.
• Cleans and sanitizes all assigned areas in accordance with company policies and County, State and Federal health requirements including Human Resources, Camas Health Recovery Center, Legal, Camas Path, victim advocacy, Laundry, off site warehouse, and all other outbuildings not listed above.
• All gaming machines in the Casino, lobbies, lounges, food venues and restrooms at the resort and casino. The Spa, pool, exercise room, and entire lower level of the resort. All furniture, walls, ceilings, woodwork, windows, door panels, sills, corridors, elevators, and stairways on the first two floors of Resort and all the Casino, when requested.
• Stock, maintain, and secure all storerooms with all needed supplies.
• Uses high lift or ladders to reach high areas for cleaning.
• Remove all trash and transports trash and waste to disposal area.
• Pressure washes as needed.
• Performs special projects as directed.
• Work in a manner, which will cause the least amount of disturbance to the guests, observing guest privacy and requests.
• Record and report any maintenance problems found.
• Know and abide by all company policies and procedures including safety, security, and emergency procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager.
• Available and willing to work any changes in hours deemed necessary for Business Levels.
• Responsible for maintaining a good attendance record.

Experience

• Minimum of (1) month related experience or training.

Skills & Abilities

• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Must be computer literate with working knowledge of Microsoft programs and other computer software.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Training in biohazard clean up and disposal.
• General understanding of MSDS and OSHA requirements.
• Operation and maintenance of care floor equipment is preferred.
• Basic to advanced level in custodial technician training.
• Ability to follow verbal and written directions.
• Skill in identifying and resolving problems under pressure conditions.

Education

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).

Other Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Obtain and maintain [License or Work Permit Level].
• Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to tobacco smoke, flashing lights, and loud noises as found in a casino setting. The employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, repetitive motions, extreme cold or extreme heat. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
