Schedule: Block scheduling (not guaranteed)
Guarantee: 36 hours

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse to provide high-quality care in a fast-paced ICU setting. The ideal candidate will have critical care experience, expertise with CRRT/Prismaflex, and preferably cardiac/heart care experience. Floating to other units (except Behavioral and ER) may be required.

• Total Beds: 42

  • East: 20 beds

  • West: 22 beds

  • Neuro/Med: 22 beds

  • CTICU: 6 beds

  • Surgical/Trauma: 14 beds

• Floating: Required if needed (except Behavioral and ER)

• Scrub Color: Navy

Patient Population & Common Diagnoses

• Neuro/Med: Stroke, Sepsis, Altered Mental Status (AMS), Neuro Intervention (TCAR), Respiratory Failure, CHF, Post-STEMI

• CTICU: Cardiac surgery, Cardiogenic Shock, AAA Surgery

• Surgical/Trauma: Trauma, Major Post-Operative Surgery

Specialty Equipment

• Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP)

• CRRT (Prisma or NxStage)

• Ventriculostomy

• ICP Monitoring

• Targeted Temperature Management (TTM) – Arctic Sun

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

• 2+ years ICU experience in ICU, SICU, CTICU, Trauma ICU, Med-Surg ICU, or Neuro ICU

• Travel experience preferred

• Charge nurse experience preferred

• Active NY RN License (verified via NURSYS)

• Current Certifications:

  • BLS (AHA)

  • ACLS (AHA)

  • NIHSS

• EMR Experience: EPIC required
