Patient Ratios: Labor 1:1 (most of the time), post-partum 5-6:1, nursery 5-6:1

Type of equipment: GE fetal monitors EMR Meditech, CPN

Hiring Profile

Must have: At least 2 years of labor experience

Preferred or nice to have: 2+ years of labor experience with a history working in an LDRP with high birth volumes

List typical procedures performed on unit(s): Vaginal deliveries, C-sections, antepartum patients. Newborn and post-partum care

Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP & AWHONN Fetal monitoring certification

Dress Code: Navy blue scrubs/ MIU nurses have pink badges for infant security

Weekends and On call: Every third weekend with 12 hours of call per 4 week schedule
